We want you to be satisfied with Cognya. This Refund Policy explains when you may be entitled to a refund and how to request one.

2. Free Tier

The free tier (6 worksheets) is provided at no cost and is not subject to any refund policy.

3. Subscription Refunds

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

• You request a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase and have generated fewer than 3 worksheets during that period
• You have experienced a significant technical issue that prevented you from using the platform and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe

We do not offer refunds for:

• Change of mind after 7 days
• Partial use of a subscription period
• Annual subscriptions after the 7-day window has passed

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email hello@cognya.co.uk with:

• Your account email address
• The date of your subscription purchase
• The reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

5. Cancellation vs Refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund. If you wish to cancel and receive a refund, you must request the refund explicitly as described above.

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
